WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE TO LEARN THE 4 COIN TRANSPORTATION where 4 coins leave from underneath one card one at a time and wind up all together under one card at the end of the effect..Not sure if this is a coin or a card trick, its kind if like a Hybrid??? is it difficult to do? are any gaffs used???

Sounds like you’re looking for a matrix routine. There are many versions out there - some hard, some less so, some using gimmicks, some with more sleight of hand.

Ordinarily the "across" plot is managed without cards. There's a version done under two brass covers which starts with 4 and 4 and proceeds to 3 and 5... till none and 8. That's in "More Magic" and uses gaffs. It's recently been made available gain by the folks at Airship Magic. The plot of coins assembling under cards evolved from a trick made popular by a guy performing as Yank Ho, using four coins, two cards, and a handkerchief called Sympathetic Coins. You can find that in Bobo's Modern Coin Magic and it's a classic routine. When working on a suitable surface, that trick has a wonderful upgrade in Al Schneider's Matrix. Four coins and four cards. As with many things in magic, there are often multiple ways to do most effects - some using no gaffs but lots of sleight of hand, and some requiring gaffs and less finesse.
Some are even done with other items (like dice) instead of coins.

This is one of those things, and and there are a whole host of things you could use - or not - depending on what kind of money or time you're willing to put in.

I think Harry Lorayne teaches Sympathetic Coins in his “Magic Book”.

"Coin Card" is Steve Dusheck's novel (and imo, very good) version of this effect/plot, available on his 1982 lecture dvd (available at Airship Magic).
