The Daily Magician Walkaround Blackpool Day 1

A book is mentioned at around 7 minutes by one of Ascanios students. Since the mic died I could not understand the title. Anyone?

I believe this is the book:

How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Anyone else notice the exploding potato chip (sorry, crisp) effect?

Would love to learn more. I'd use this a lot more than the exploding lightbulb.

There is a thread about it. And it sold out. So yeah, people are noticing it. Here you go: https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view......c=766815
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

Does anybody know the name of the effect at 20:30 min?

It's probably just a basic esp matchup routine, but I love the cards.... they look amazing!

Also... Any performance videos of Mark Mason online yet?

Mind Entanglement.
Don't think it's out with the regular magic shops yet.
Same person who came out with IMPOSSIBLE but it seems like he's producing this independently now.

Thank you.Really nice to see him.

Until now I binged every single Blackpool 2024 video. Even the ones in other languages.

The things I am really missing until now are perdormances from MindFX.... Also nothing about labco or Audience wonderland...

With the last twio I can live but not a single performance from Michael Murray? *sad*

His stand was full of people around so I couldn’t get in there when I was there. All for good reason too as the releases were meant to be fantastic.

Also the Trailer for Chill 2.0 dropped:

Some questions about Loki.
1) Is the outcome always the same in that the volunteer always chooses the only key that opens the lock and the other 2 are blanks?
2) Can be they try the blanks if they want?
3) Can it be inspected?
4) Will it only be available in this color?

My initial impressions are that it is a nice, quick and clean lock effect suitable for parlor or strolling..m

Mark always has top notch magic. Care to share what the effect is? I do not see it on his site yet. Sounds like a mentalism type of thing?

Very nice video....
First one showing us around.

Also here's a short of something looking like a master prediction system... Had to watch it twice because the prop box looked so innocent ....

Like the effect hate the selection process. DFB etc leaves me cold.

The oddest ball is funny, it's just not $250 funny. I would say that it is more like $35 funny.

Regarding Oddest Ball, does anyone know how loud it is? Would it be usable for parlor shows of around 25-100 people? It would nice if it could be connected to a sound system. Thanks!

I just got it..performed it outside and it played well...its not deafening but a parlor audience would easily hear it well
