Greg passed away this afternoon. Thank you all for the well wishes and thoughts for Greg. The man was a genius. He was as authentic and generous as they come. He was a mentor and one of my best friends.

RIP my dear friend.

Very sad, indeed. Greg was also a wonderful, friendly and clever informal mentor to many of us here on the Cafe.

I will long remember him and his helpful suggestions...

So sorry and sad to hear this. He was both a true gentleman and a big asset to the community and would literally help anyone just for the asking. He got it. He tried to help others get it. I appreciate our lengthy talks and discussions on the art we love and respect. Such a great thinker.

RIP my friend. Condolences to his family and friends.

Talking with Greg about Mentalism was like trying to sip water from a fire hydrant. His brain and his ideas percolated at an unprecedented rate.
He was one of the good guys and I am grateful that our lives intersected even for that brief time.

Didn't know Greg other than seeing his posts from time to time here at the Cafe (over *many* years), but that was enough to know he was a caring colleague. I'm not sure he and I ever connected here, but even with that, when I saw this topic I knew instantly who he was. His presence here was one I distinctly remember, and I know he was a valuable help (and not only at the Cafe, to be sure!). May he RIP.
