In David Copperfield's history of magic he says that Alexander (Claude Conlin) was in Texas in 1906 when missing props prompted him to try out what became his successful psychic routine. Does anybody know where he was when this happened? I have tried to search newspaper archives but no luck so far.

David Charvet wrote the book "Alexander - The Man Who Knows" which is one of the foremost biographies of Claude Conlin. If anyone would know the answer to your question it would be him.
