A true legend of our art. His contribution to magic and mentalism is beyond measure. I will treasure my signed copies of his books -the wisdom contained within could sustain any aspiring mentalist for a lifetime.

Here here, one of the all-time greats. So many brilliant stories and anecdotes too in addition to some truly superb tricks. Personally I love the clip of him retelling the grand piano story, the absurdity and comedic aspect of it is so wonderful and his narration is a joy. And to leave an eponymous effect must be the ultimate goal of all magicians, what a legacy. Sleep well sir.

Favorite story of him: Peter Turner's account of Berglas handing him a napkin with writing on it that was the greatest piece of advice he's ever received.
