Hi, I've had Deans Box sitting on my shelf for years, and finally decided it was time to take it down and figure out why I bought it to start with Smile
Well now I know. It really is pretty cool, easy to do and does amaze people.
I'm aware it is a reimagined Sefalaljia-type effect.
BUT, what I don't have is a good story to go with it.
It doesn't look old, so "I found this box in an antique store or attic" doesn't work. (although I've thought about rough sanding the finish off and then distressing the wood & adding symbols etc to make it look old, weird or odd)
Egyption theme? Uh Uh!
Oriental origination story? Nope

Maybe; "The box isn't magic, but in the dark my hands are! They can melt rope". Meh or maybe!?

ANYONE have a good story line that could be used with Deans Box?
As Always,
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY THOUGHTS.

Check out the Michael Close dvd - Closely Guarded Secrets for a very good routine.

I think there is a routine on one of Marc Salems dvds. I do not know the name if that one but they (Michael Close and Marc Salem) should give you some ideas to make up routine of your own.
