What do you carry to the gig. This is in terms of cables, microphones and plugs?

Some I know carry cases of extra connectors and such and this is sort of thing I am seeking out.

If I need to be prepared for anything, I may bring both impedance-matching transformers (low to high and high to low), and cables for whatever microphones I use. If you use music you may want appropriate cables to plug into the PA. It really depends on your setup. Some of the lousy amps require a preamp for some mikes.

I've eliminated much of what I need because I switched to battery-operated mikes. The receiver plugs into whatever board or speaker I'm using. Even my amps have batteries, eliminating power cords.
