Hi all
For you, what is the best switch deck gimmick?
For what I saw, the Parson Switch Box is very nice.

Thanks

But the parson switch box will not switch a deck?

Hi Bernardo, as an invisible gimmick "the cooler" is a fantastic option:

I have also used a visible gimmick : "Toyota box" by Mikame: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0cnp52a......27sMagic

If you want a bare hand switch, Daniel Madison's approch is great

:-)

In my opinion, The Cooler is the best.

The cooler is not complicated to put the deck inside the "box"

The idea I have of the cooler is that the deck must be aligned with the box, correct?

Generally, yes. There is a little bit of wiggle room, so it not as if it needs to be absolutely perfect.

The cooler is very fragile and brittle. Mine broke when practicing. It does come (or did) with an extra "something".
Wish it was made with more resilient material.

I always found the method in Dean Dill's Blizzard to be ideal when using a table.

Bobo switch the deck or box on the offbeat, then set it down and come back to it after a time delay.

This is my admittedly really crude method --- I put the deck in my inside coat pocket and say, "Let's put the cards away for awhile. We'll come back to them a little later, but right now I'd like to show you a trick with this coin/rope/handkerchief...."

Of course, this method is NOT good for a trick where you want to change a shuffled in-use deck for a stacked deck RIGHT AWAY, but it is good for most of the situations I am in.
