There is a Scene in season 10 of the British TV series Red Dwarf where one character has to pretend to be telepathic, he proceeds to grasp the sides of a man's head who had requested to see his abilities.

The character in question panics as they have no psychic ability at all and frantically proceeds to grasp the man's head at the sides in dramatic fashion, he then claims that he is sensing pain, he is sensing discomfort, he then states that he senses the man is thinking that he is squeezing his head too hard.

The man then replies, 'That's amazing, that's exactly what I was thinking!"

Whilst this is just a throwaway joke in a brilliant British Sitcom, the thinking behind it can be adapted to be something beautiful and deceptive when looked at from a different angle.
