- I wish I had known I could get the book from Rubinstein directly. I picked it up at a magic shop based on some great feedback but, doing it again, would have gone straight to the source.

- This book changed how I looked at coin magic. To be fair, I had tried, and mostly given up on coin magic decades ago. For whatever reason, this book resonated with me. Enough that I picked up the Roth book (for a pretty penny since it was before the reprint was announced) and dove back in to Bobo's NMCM.

Sure. It is for anyone with a basic knowledge of coin magic. Once you know the basics, anything is within your reach. And, the book concentrates on sleight of hand over gaffs, with practical routines. Contents listed on the first post of this thread.

I made that series in the 80's, and still filled with top notch topical material, used by many, including Bertini and Reed McClintock, to start their coin magic journey!)

Less than 200 copies remain of the fourth edition of Rubinstein Coin Magic! When those run out, I may wait a bit before printing again, as I have other projects on the shelf. One will be out in the next few months, that I am very excited about!

You are very welcome! I know for some it helps to see an effect before deciding what they want to practice.The mentalist can be done as a showpiece where two bowls of different types of coins and dates are offered, and you still can make the prediction on the coin (you will have to read the final thoughts at the end of the routine to understand how that is accomplished).

I received some copies of the Spanish edition of Rubinstein Coin Magic, and I have to say, the editors went all out. Gone is the pun chapter (hard to translate), but they included a comprehensive index at the end of the book with all the moves with their spanish and english names, and all of the cited magicians with the page numbers where they were cited (like in Bobo). All the references used for crediting are cited at the end as well, making it easier to locate information for the reader. In the beginning they inserted a section describing American currency, and indicated locations on the hand, coin, audience and magician views, and parts of a coin purse in spanish so the reader will understand the translation much better. This book was a labor of love for me to write and publish, and it is very clear that Paginas Libros de Magia who published this in spanish, took the same time, effort and care to make an amazing edition for the spanish speaking community as well.
I have a few extra copies, so please contact me if you are interested in getting a signed copy of the Spanish edition.
Btw, I have been told that the French edition is at the proofers, and that will be coming out in the next few months.
