Our one HoudiniOpoly pitch is now scheduled to take in over $13,247 by tomorrow.
At the Houdini Museum we pitch Svengali deck kits for $20 and with stripper deck for $30. Important part of our income, but this was much faster, but a full time job both before and during, and now after.

To make it clear, in all fairness, a part of the pitch is the inclusion of a book of over 100 tricks with the cards.

Ahh yes.... but it's still great! Good for you!

When I first started pitching svens, I started at only $3 a deck with no kicker (these are for the slum packs sold from D Robbins and Loftus)..
Later only about a year later or so went up to 5 bucks (still without a kicker) and sold just as many and in many cases even more... weird! (that was about 20 or 21 years ago).

Then not so long ago I started pitching them for $10 and still sold plenty (though I did noticed a slight decrease).. but as soon as I started throwing in the kicker, my turns almost doubled... (I give credit to Dons advice in his tapes for that one)!

I think $20 bucks for a pack and a kicker is very doable today.. specially at fairs or tourist locations (though I think it'll be a little harder but doable).. but I'm happy to rake in 10 bucks for now...

Anyways, Good to hear it works great for you and hope your kickstarter went all well for you! Have a good one!

Can you still buy Don's tapes? I think I had one many years ago? .....or DVD's maybe?
His face isn't really this long in-person!
