I know it's already been suggested, but I have to add that you cannot underestimate the power of Gemini Twins. Can be presented so many ways and always hits 'em square between the eyes!

FSDIU self-workers? Soooo many. But who can resist a list, huh? Smile

OK, so off the top of my head my go-to FSDIU self workers (without even a f*rce or anything) are (in no particular order):
Gemini Twins
Untouched (or variations)
The Piano Card Trick
Automatic Ace Triumph
Betting Game sucker trick (or any other KC+reveal trick)

If you can include on-the-fly set ups and a simple single 'move'(though not really a sleight):
Pre-prefiguration
Cowboys & Indians
Lazy Magicians Card Trick
Lie Detector 2
Hindu F*rce + revelation of choice/ Cross-cut f*rce + revelation of choice
The Nervous Card
Poker Player's Picnic
Overclock
Various J*nah card poker deal tricks
Any impromptu OOTW trick

Additionally, if you can do a false shuffle/cut, a force, and a control then there's hundreds you can do!

Did anyone mention Twisting the Aces? If not, Twisting The Aces. If it was mentioned, then....what he said.

Jay Sankey's 'Back in Time' is a personal favourite.

Don't forget to look in 'Royal Road to Card Magic', it's full of classic tricks with an unprepared deck.

From a spectator shuffled deck I like to do a simple show the top card. Do a double lift and flip. Re-flip. Place the original 1st card on the table and ask what is that card.

They repeat but do a triple life. But before revealing the face down card, say I bet you think I flipped 2 cards. Show the now top card and then reveal the face down card on the table.

Gets them every time.

Good trick, but doesn't qualify as gaffs are required.

Gaffs aren't required. It just requires a small setup to get the right cards on top of the deck.

If you're referring to the 2 card monte like Oz Pearlman performs on Born To Perform Card Magic, I absolutely agree. If you can do a DL this is a great trick even for a beginner like myself.

The DL is one of the most difficult sleights to master in all of card magic.
But it is not required in 2 Card Monte.
