He's dead now, but my father worked on the bill with him in vaudeville and at the same time that Houdini was working.... He made more money per week than Houdini and IMHO was the funniest magician of all time.... FRANK VAN HOVEN Smile

I never saw him, but, from the old timers who saw amd/or knew, Frank Van Hoven, (The man who made ICE famous) He was FUNNY.

And, from "this" old timer: I can't make up my mind who was/is funniest. Many of those already "nominated" are funny! --each in his own way! The opinions of all of us, are subjective!

Comedy, according to the late Jack Benny, is a fragile thing. When you get inside to examine it, it's gone!

I didn't see anyone mention Tom Mullica. His humor sneaks up on you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCm4r0F0tts

Bill Malone male me laugh every time.

I once saw Jerry Sadowitz live in Glasgow. Not everyone's cup of tea, but he was good.

I wouldn't necessarily say he's "the funniest", but he makes me laugh harder than some of the others mentioned: Piff the Magic Dragon

That said, I haven't seen his full live show & his various TV appearances (like those of a lot of comedians) tend to be the same stuff over and over, so I'm not sure if he's truly funny or if he's a one trick pony with less than 20 minutes of good material. I could see him either being worthy of these lists or really dull, depending on what he does with the rest of his time on stage.
