I have performed Zen Master over 100 times and its my favorite memdeck effect.
So, if you want to do some superstrong, learn Zen Master. |

What glimpse do right handers use?

Thank you all for calling attention to this effect. While studying it, I found that if you use a reversed mem deck, the last phase is automatic (just name the card's stack number). See "Exact Location", in "Mnemonica", for sources.

As a lefty, I was very happy to learn his Sinister Glimpse. I use it just every time I need to peek at a card these days. It is nice to have something in the arsenal built specifically for us 10%ers!! I am sure the Card College books are replete with right handed options.

I don’t have any trouble doing the required math on the run for ZM, but I will have a play around with this, just to see what difference it makes. Thanks for reminding me about this principle. I really do need to re-read my treasured copy of Mnemonica.

I agree. This keeps my mind open to more possibilities than just what is written. I always try to find ways to suit the tricks to my style, and this definitely suits me!
