Last weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to make it to Eureka Spring, Arkansas. There I saw the Intrigue Theater show. What an excellent show! Sean-Paul and Juliane put on an excellent magic and mentalism show. The venue is an old rock church building, which lends to the total experience. I highly recommend it to anyone that is in the vicinity. It is well worth the small price and the ride to get there. Although I hesitate to think that anyone else will drive thirteen hours, like I did. The show was very well produced and expertly performed. Their web site is http://intriguetheater.com/

My wife and I had the pleasure of attending Aiden Sinclair’s show last night at The Browncoat Theater in Willmington NC. Aiden started his show with his typical flair that received a great laugh. He brought the entire audience (two sold out shows, standing room only!) on a journey from Whitechapel London, a certain insane asylum we all know well to the voyage on the Titanic and beyond. The entire show took everyone on a well thought out journey.

The effects were executed perfectly of course, but the stand out by far is Aiden’s dialog and connecting with the audience. His show is a tight well thought out excellent piece of theater. There were jumps, and gasps as he performed an excellent PK Touch routine, as well as visible jitters when his talking board welcomed the spirits to the Browncoat. When the hour show wrapped up Aiden personally thanked each person for attending.
A true touch of class.

You can tell that Aiden is a seasoned performer with excellent skills that will surely take him very far. He travels all over the county performing shows, so check out his website – http://www.aidensinclair.net to see if he will be in your area.

Someone needs to tell Mr. Sinclair to fix his website, as none of the links to Performances, Biography, Video, Photos, or Contact seem to be working. Just thought I'd mention it.

250th Performance! 2 Years Come October
Welcome to the San Francisco Magic Parlor!

“Magical Tales of San Francisco!” Embark on a theatrical journey where fascinating tales of Wonder and Shadow unfold. We’ll introduce you to San Francisco’s most revered and feared eccentrics, offering captivating San Francisco tales entwined with astonishing magic.

Our performance style seamlessly blends classic storytelling with classical conjuring, the evening’s vignettes are highlighted with magical moments employing unusual curios and rare artifacts.

Time seems to stand still in our little Parlor situated within the historic Chancellor Hotel Union Square. Our whimsical turn-of-the-century theatre evokes old San Francisco. We’ve reimagined the ambiance of La Belle Époque that brief moment in history when wealthy Europeans dined at Maxim’s and frolicked at Moulin Rouge.

...A cozy and charming place where history and imagination meet: Anthony serves up saucy vignettes about some of The City’s most infamous historical figures...
-San Francisco Examiner-

Now in the 12th month of our open-ended run we’ve become a fixture in the city’s Union Square theatre and entertainment center.

Your Host, Walt Anthony, Conjurer & Teller-of-Tales, is a dynamic performer with more than thirty years of practical experience and formal training in acting, magic and entertainment. Walt has wit, exuberance, and an elegant style, making his performances unique and mesmerizing.

…shimmering fairy tales are Anthony’s métier… conjuring up a façade of bygone elegance…
-San Francisco Chronicle-

Guests Agree!
“A real San Francisco treat, better than Rice-a-Roni!” -
“Our first night in San Francisco wisely spent.” -
“A must do for any native San Francisco.” -

You may enjoy pre-show dinners and drinks from 5 pm to 7 pm in the lobby lounge before our 8:00 pm curtain time. Reservations are encouraged due to the intimate size of the Parlor.
