I carry a 'card to wallet' as my regular wallet, loaded with a NW and Kolossal Killer. Also, will occasionally carry B'wave since it packs small enough for my check-book sized wallet.

TT and er... well, you'd be amazed how big a variety of tricks you can get out of this with stuff that's always lying around. Oh and if it's dark, I ditch the TT and grab my 2 D'lites. The rest of what I do is with whatever's lying around.

Two TTs and an ultra mental deck, never
leave home without them. Oh, and a few business cards for forced predictions.
Great PR.

I am surprised at how many of you carry a deck of cards with you. That's like carrying a sign that says, "I am a magician, watch me perform!" How many laymen walk around with a deck of cards in their pocket? Keep it simple and learn to do magic with items that are readily around you. The only gimmick I ever regularly carry on me is a Boss ITR. Just clip it inside of the shirt and you are ready to do the most amazing magic that blows the spectator away. Quality is always better than quantity.

Ah, but magicians aren't laymen. There are a lot of things magicians do that laypersons do not. Sure it is good to be able to perform magic with everyday items, but as soon as you do, you are saying, "I am a magician, watch me perform!" As longs as the deck isn't carried on a chain around the neck, I don't see a problem with it. But it is entirely a matter of personal choice.

Yes, and after you levitate/move things with your ITR, I suspect people will say, "He's a magician, watch him perform." Of course they know we are magicians! Only magicians do the goofy stuff we do. Don't worry about carrying your cards, guys. A deck will never break down in the middle of a routine.

TT. (w/$20.00)
Deck of cards. (with or w/out Card Warp prep and/or different colored back card between the 2 jokers)
Small length of rope and a ring.
One half dollar or one silver dollar.
5 twist off bottle caps. (sometimes)

I do want to get into ITR work. Any recommendations on type of T or brand of ITR and video/book on the same?

Cards, finger tip, a business card with a prediction on the back (positive-negative from Max), a shapie, and I've started using my Mullica wallet as my everyday wallet. I keep trying to cut back on the stuff I'm carrying but this is about as light as I can get without getting the shakes. Smile
