Chris, in making your judgement you may have missed this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoFjzGDz5-s

Dan Garrett and Bob Sheets routines and handling are included on their "Grab That Pinhead" DVD. The principle is based on a discovery by Hans Van Senus and his routine was originally published in Apocalypse.

I must be missing something. What's happening in Chris' routine that isn't in Dan's method?

Hey, guys! I just opened a box of magic that was recovered and sent to me. Inside was from the Houdini Magic Shop (?) - The Sub Rosa Professional Series. It's The Stealth Linking Pins, by Geno Munari.

You get a 30-page booklet and 5 large, 3 inch safety pins, two black, 2 inch pins, one of which is gaffed in the van Senus method. Plus you get 2, 2 inch brass pins.

I also got two extra 3 inch pins in this kit. A regular, gaffed in the van Senus method, and one Jerry Andrus gimmick pin.

Seems everything is covered here. This is the ULTIMATE kit, if you do linking pins. I found a copy here:

Very interesting set! This would surely cover just about every routine out there as far as the different gaffs used throughout the different routines over the years.

I may just pick this up. Is anyone familiar with this dealer that can vouch for their services? I ask because I have only heard the name once or twice.
