I do a combination of Dan Turcotte's version and end with ring on wand. It goes over very well. (I assume you mean finger rings).
Gregory Wilson's Ring Leader is loaded with moves that you can incorporate.

You could try the repackaged trick 'Ringscape' from Fantasma Magic. It now comes with a DVD showing a good 3-phase routine and 2 'speical' shoelaces (only 1 is needed so you'll have a spare one!

For large ring on string (rope) then the Aldo Colombini DVDs are a great way to start and they are only $10. For finger ring on string (or ribbon) routines, then Gregory Wilson's Ring Leader is the way to go even though it is $50. For close-up magic you can't beat the reactions of a good finger ring routine. Unfortunately finger ring routines don't play well for larger audiences so you will need a large ring routine.

Wilson's Ring Leader and the routines Pablo cites are probably the most often recommended sources. Also, nice routines come from Scott Guinn and Jay Scott Berry.
However, one of the best deals in magic and a great place to start comes from Bob Miller at bobmillermagic.biz where you can download the Relentless Ring and String Routine for $5. -FC |

Mine is a combination of moves from Dan Garrett, Dan Fleshman, and Jay Scott Berry. Look into a couple and see what works for you. There are lots of moves out there.

Ring Leader is very good. So is Relententless Ring and String.
The routine I have used for years is "Wedding Ring Redux" which is in my book, KOTR. Rather than a series of moves, this is a proven commercial routine which is designed to connect with the audience as well as fool them badly. The routine is taught in full (including detailed script) in my book and on the companion DVD. |

I will recommend the routine of Mark Leveridge and Dan Fleshman..
Dan Fleshman's routine is logical and entertaining. Great combination with a ring to impossible location.

I have Ring Leader and it is amazing. It has tons of moves. I'm glad it was my first dvd with regards to ring and string routines. Best of all, everything can be borrowed!

Ring Leader is a good one source for many finger ring pennetration effects
If you want to do 4" ring and rope effects, check out Daryls Expert Rope Magic, or the Encyclopedia of Rope (book) or Fulve's Rope Magic has a good collection as well.
