Hey all, was wondering if we could compile a list of 'alternative' decks of cards?

Several have come out over the years and having an updated list would be great.

This may be better in a mentalism category but I couldn't decide...everyone can use these cards so I figured this was the best place.

Also might be best not to put here the actual names of the fictional products these decks may represent, so google can't show this thread if searched by laymen.

A list of decks which are:

- Disguised as something else, like a game or 'swatch' book style deck
- Not playing cards (like ace-king)
- Not Tarot cards

Not sure what sort of cards/decks you mean, but you can do a lot of mentalism effects with a mirage or a Svengali deck. Or do you mean things like ESP cards - again, very useful in mentalism

Thanks for thinking about this!

Yes, playing card decks are no doubt useful in magic and mentalism.

Here I wanted to create a list of decks which are not standard playing card decks, but are disguised as something else - like a game.

Best,

Evan

Phill Smith's Fusion Mosaic Phenomenon, Mind Blox and Cube 52 (both by Craig Petty) also come to mind.
