Hey friends

I hope someone can help me with this investigation. Is there any ITR in the market that instead of using magician's wax/putty to hook the object would use a magnet??

I am planning on dropping the object (eg: a pen) to the floor and then making it fly to my hand. If I use magician's wax to hook the thread, I am afraid it may detach from the object/pen when it hits the floor... Also, the thread would need to be strong enough to resist the drop...

any ideas??
