Within the last month I saw an advertisement for a new card magic book and for the life of me I can’t find it anywhere. It may have been from an Asian magician and one of the pictures showed an illustration of a trick where the cards pointed to the location of a selected card. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

By Asian... do you mean Indian? Russian? Persian? Sikh? Tamil?

That's not it Andy.
magicfish - British people typically use the Asian term to refer to India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Americans typically use the term to refer to China, Korea, Thailand, Japan, or Vietnam. I'm American. |

Asia is a Continent. Russia is the largest country in Asia.
With respect, it matters not where you're from. Argentina is in South America. Morocco is in Africa, France is in Europe, Russia, Iran, and China are in Asia. |

Steve Beam has a trick in Semi-Automatic Card Tricks, vol. 1.
The World’s Greatest Magician, page 26. You spell ‘Who is the world’s greatest magician’ dealing the cards in a row. It ends as an arrow, pointing to yourself. The selection is the next card on the pack. |
