Does anyone know where I can purchase a 1-inch Hole Puncher to create in the center of a card?

I purchased one from Amazon, but it can only reach 0.25 inches from edge of a card. I can't seem to find a 1-inch Hole Puncher to reach the center of a card.

Look for a Circle Cutter. These can be found in your hobby/craft stores, usually in with scrapbooking supplies.
Amazon does carry them also.

Have you used this specific EK Tool for the 1-inch hole?

Does this EK Tool reach the center of a poker-sized playing card?

I have not. That is why I had suggested a circle cutter. Those can be placed anywhere and are not limited where the hole can be made.

Salby;
Let me know what back design and what face you need punched, and I'll
punch one for you so you can see what my commercial punches can do. I use
many different ones in the cards I make for people, and am always ready to
help any way that I can so let me know what back and what face you like and
where to send it, and I'll pop one in the mail for you to see if that works
for you.

Hi All...

Thanks for your offer, Marty.

However, I already placed my order for the EK Tool. It's inexpensive enough to try and Amazon has a good return policy if it's not what I expected..

Thanks Wravyn, for luring me to the semantics needed to find this gem.

Thanks for the confirmation, Gilles.

Once I receive it, I'll chime in here again.

I received this specific EK Tool. I immediately tried it out.

It is amazing and absolutely what I was aiming for of making a 1-inch hole in the center of a playing card!! Clean (non-jagged) circle!!!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

(I purchased a 2nd one... Just in case-- You know how it goes.)

Salby,

Does it easily reach the center, or do you have to butt it all the way into the punch and it barely reaches?

Thanks.

Hey Paul,

Nope-- It fits perfectly, I feel. It does NOT damage the card by creating any "notches" or "curves" or "bends" in the card.

If it is off-center, believe me, it would be a "hair" that no one would notice.

Honestly, you'd be more than happy with it... I sure am.
