Has anyone ever made a prop that was made to look like it's breathing?
Before I delve in and start experimenting, I wanted to see if the group could steer me one way or the other. I want to make something in a fishtank look like it's breathing, and I can't decided if I should try some sort of air bladder that fills and empties, or a rotating arm that pushes against the material in a cycle to make it rise and fall. Any experience with either method? Anyone have a third method I haven't thought of? Thanks! |

Amazon has sleeping animals for 30 to 40 dollars. Here is a link to one for 30 dollars.

Thanks Dan! I don't know why I didn't think to just take a pre-existing toy and re-skin it!

Frightprops.com is a good source for animatronics parts. I am pretty sure I have seen a breathing mech on the site or in their catalog.
