Anyone know what TCC replica Morgan coins ( or any replica coins for that matter) are made of? How durable are they?

The material and quality (particularly the apperance/accuracy) very much depends on the manufacturer - there's no "standard" here.
The Bluether ones are made of "White Copper" (an alloy so they're the same color the whole way through and would wear well) and look correct, while the Oliver Magic ones are made out of coated brass (so wear visibly) and don't look right on the image. The Vanishing Inc ones (Cone and Cylinder) have "replica" stamped in them - but I haven't used them, so I don't know what they're made of. I know you're asking about the TCC ones, which I haven't held, and I don't think they've said what they're made out of. But the appearance is at least correct from the images I've seen. There have been a few threads about this in the past (e.g. https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view......rum=202) which might have some of the information for you, but I don't believe TCC had released theirs at the time, so they're not in the comparison. I hope that helps. |

If you look for replica Morgan you might find the set from bluether interesting. They are white copper, silver plated. Did not bought them, but asked about:
