If you have read Jennings '67 and/or Classic Magic of Larry Jennings can you please give your opinion as to which was more interesting? More interesting effects and sleights? I just don't have the time to read both. I am only a hobbyist, but I like challenging and interesting sleights.

Thanks.

Well, I already have both. The question was which should I read first given my substantial time restraints. I guess these books are not as popular as I thought which is surprising given the relevant postings on The Cafe.

Just to add to your confusion, Teddy, I highly recommend Kaufman's recent book, Mr. Jennings Takes It Easy.

I think the Classic Magic was a disaster. Poorly written.

Buy Card College....the best ever.

Classic magic contains some of Jennings best work ever.

Is it well written? No. Can you still learn most of the tricks from it? Yes.

Bob

I have that already and went through most of it. I will probably opt to go through it again and settle on the Classic Magic of LJ.
Thanks to all respondents; always good to get a multi-view.
