Found this business card inside an Emerson and West H & R Pocket Secret-ary.

Was curious if the George Kirkendall shown is the Kirkendall of reel fame. I reached out to the community engagement Coordinator, Scott Duck, at the American Museum of Magic and he was unable to confirm a direct connection through census records but did say, "the name Kirkendall was a very popular Dutch family name in Ohio"

Anyone recognize a detail here that might tie this card back to "our" Kirkendall?

I assumed this card was picked up along the way by the original owner and wasn't originally part of the E&W product.

Ok. This is the same George Kirkendall of reel fame. George was an excellent machinist and consultant. George actually went to high school with my father and his father lived a mile from my folk's farm. I got to know George pretty well after getting into magic then found out about the connection between George and my father.
On a side note, George's father had a pilot's license signed by Eddie Rickenbacker.
The Pocket Secretary was a card in wallet effect. I suspect that it was something George had used and put his business card inside to make it appear more normal.
Hope that help.
George was from Akron, Ohio and would be about 91 years old if still alive. His dad, lived in Suffield, Ohio was also named George.
Here is the entry from Whaley's Index.

When I was 13, attending my first-ever Magic Convention in New Haven, Connecticut, George took my father and I out for lunch, blew our minds with his close-up work, and gifted me with a Chinatown Quarter. Incredibly generous guy.
