I'm the first to admitt:
Even in Germany(!),
you won't find a Ball-bearing Shop, in every pedestrian-zone!

It WAS , with surprise,...and happiness(!),
I spent a few refreshing minutes,...
well,...
a half-hour(!..!),
....between Shows,
looking thru the wares.

Now,...How would YOU sell Ball-bearings?

..with 'magic', of course!

Heinrich Skau.
Markt Strasse, Itzehoe.
Bearings. Hoses. Clamps. Brass fittings....
,...one really fine cup of coffee(!).
A sence and smile,...for Sleight of Hand.

Thinking back of Paul Gertner's 'Ball-bearing' routine,...
it did make me wonder,..
if maybe HE also didn't happen into Heinrich's shop!

Keep 'em rolling,

Ken Brooke sold a trick called Mo Howarth's Ball in Bottle.
Easier than coin in bottle and they have the props in that store
I am sure.

Hello R Don, greetings.

I'm just curious, but,..how did Mo Howarth's 'Ball in the Bottle',...look?

It sounds kinda interesting(!).

Another guy, on the west coast was playing with ball bearings,
for a while: Lou Serrano.

I believe 'the last' vanishes,...with a 'flash'(!).
It looks really nice!

Ball in the bottle.
A bottle and steel ball examined... the ball does not fit inside. (almost but not)
A coin is placed atop the bottle-- small coin
A note; dollar or what you have, is spooled and wrapped around the bottle top and the coin.
The ball is dropped into the tube and it apparently penetrates the coin and falls into the bottle.

Note: I am not 100% sure but the ball might have been wrapped in flash paper; lit and then dropped
in the rolled up dollar.. coin was a sixpence or dime.

Just like Gallagher, weave in some impressive sleight of hand tricks using ball bearings. Make them appear, disappear, or multiply in your hands to grab attention. Challenge customers to guess the weight of a certain number of bearings or invite them to participate in a simple magic trick that utilizes bearings.
