Florida magicians Ariel & Damara, with help from friends and family, have been running a brick & mortar magic shop called Tin City Magic in Naples, Florida for well over a decade. Many of you are customers and supporters of having brick and mortar magic shops that can perform live demonstrations and help younger magicians become successful performers.

Real working magic shops are a rarity, and more a labor of love, requiring hard work and dedication. It's an amazing way to introduce young performers to the Art of Magic and foster their development, which is what the shop is all about.

Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian caused catastrophic devastation to Naples, as well as much of Florida's Gulf Coast. I'm sure you've seen the pictures on TV; or possibly experienced it yourself. Although everyone tried to prepare, the destructive power of Hurricane Ian was unprecedented.

Tin City Magic was inundated with several feet of rapidly rising sea water, roiled by the intense winds. Fortunately, everyone evacuated and is OK and we are thankful for that.

But the magic shop inventory, books, fixtures, displays, electronics, and more, were swept away. The historic shopping center they are in completely flooded, and when the water receded became a mud-filled quagmire.

Cleanup is ongoing through a combination of staff, volunteers, and some hired help. They are rebuilding with new electric, drywall, etc, in the planning stages. The contractors all need to be paid and they are in high demand here in Florida.

We could use your help to build back better and get the shop open again. Even a few dollars will help bring back the Magic!

Please consider contributing to the GoFundMe campaign below. And, the next time you're in the area, please stop in and say hello!

Thank you.
