Step into a Pier One and you'll find more unique close-up cases than you can shake a wand at. Everything from wicker to inlaid stone.

For years I have used a soft sided camera gadget case that has a zipper around the top (I think it is a Canon bag). It has nice compartments and a zip-up mesh net inside, too. There are zip-up pockets on each side for incidentals for stuff I need to access quickly such as business cards.

Check out camera shops. You might be pleasantly suprised how efficient these bags are.

I've often thougt that an antique writing box would add a lot of class. most come with a slanted writing surface that could be slanted away from you, and give the close up audience a better view of some card tricks.

I don't know how "off the wall" this is, but it's convenient for me.

Before Norwood sucked up my job and left me for dead! We used to print these.

I have a translucent one. It can hold four decks of cards, various packet tricks, pens and pencils, and my thimbles. (It's currently holding the sponge balls as well, but they're getting a little squashed, so I don't recommend that.)

Problem being that I don't know if Norwood deals directly with the public or not. (Also, they're used to orders in the multiples of hundreds, although the catalog does list prices for individual items.) Your best bet would be to go to a company that handles promotional items and talk to them.

It's a "neck safe." (Does anyone else think the idea of a place to carry your money that's translucent isn't very smart?) This item will hold a deck of cards, but not much more.

I use a Bible Bag, sold in Walmart for around 5$--10$. Cheap, lots of pockets, and can fit a lot of decks and tricks in them. Multiple compartments. Several colors also. (You can also put your bible in there when you are praying that your next trick done to a thundering crowd of 1000 doesn't wind up on the floor.)

I use a leather doctors bag too.
They're classy and easy to work out of.
If your the kind of magician that always brings everything with you then a doc bag probably isn't the way to go. They are cool.
I carry the specialist line boston bag.
