There is a new (edited) half-hour version of Ed Sullivan reruns that we get now on cable. Well, Fantasio of the canes and candles fame, was on. What a great tight act! I was most impressed with his multiplying candles, he turned his hand to show the other side several times. I'm somewhat perplexed because several versions of this prop that I've seen, you couldn't do that. But to see him do the canes and candles himself was great. Then he ended with a purple dove.

I tracked down that Fantasio used a brand not his own for the multiplying candles bit. It was a Lloyd's set which had different features from what I had seen myself in terms of the candles.
