IN 2020 on June 11th we lost one of Canada's greatest Clown, Herbert Gunter Staats aka Herbie The Clown.
If my memory serves me right, it was back in the early 1970 give and take a year or two, I met Herb at one of our Hat and The Rabbit Club meetings.
I told him that Clowning was his forte and instead of performing magic shows he should put a clown act together. He had the right personality.
