I have this Geneva Prediction Watch.
Sadly I don't know how to make the watch run. Is it battery operated ?? Can't see a place/lid where I can open it and change the battery. Click here to view attached image. |

If anyone knows how to access the battery please private message me.
Does it require special tools ?? Can the tools be bought ? |

You need to take it to a watch shop and have the watch open by them and put a battery in it . it’s impossible to open on yourself . Contact George at collectors workshop and he can give you some instructions

I always took mine to a jewelers & watch shop. Never trusted myself to do it.

So did I. An additional tipp: eventually, the two hands of the watch on the special side can fall off... have the watch maker re-attach them to where they belong OR have him attach them to the silver plate with the numbers, now you can only predict one time, but they will never come off again... (and you always know which time to predict, so an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time)...
