People are often confused when we tell them we are "magicians." They hear, "musician." In the case of this week's guest, both job titles are correct. John Sturk performs as a magician doing street and parlor magic. But he also plays the organ/piano with a jazz trio all over Chicago in comedy clubs and nightclubs. John worked behind the counter at Fun, Inc. in Chicago as well as performing magic and music in the Chicago Magic Lounge from its early days through the transition and move to its new quarters. John regularly attends Abbott's Get Together where he helps coordinate the annual street performers' contest plus he provide live music for the evening stage shows.

You can view videos of John in performance, read the blog, see some photos, listen to the podcast online, and download the MP3 file at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/scot......hn-sturk
