I am surprised that I have seen very little in print anywhere about Joseph Leeming's contributions to magic literature. His books _Fun with Magic_, _More Fun with Magic_, _The Real Book about Magic_, _Card Tricks Anyone Can Do_ and others surely got many magicians started on a lifelong love of our art.
Did any of the magic journals--_GENII_, _Linking Ring_, _M.U.M._, _Magic_ etc--ever publish a decent biography of Leeming's life? As I've related elsewhere, Del Ray fooled a roomful of magicians with a card trick straight out of _Fun with Magic_. This was the day after after Del's appearance at a Collector's Workshop convention in DC/Northern Virginia. ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

Thanks, Jim. I've seen that MagicPedia article. I've also seen the brief Robert Lund article mentioned in the "References."
One would think, though, that _GENII_, _Linking Ring_ or _M.U.M._ would have printed a more in-depth biography. I did check _The Junior Book of Authors_ and found a nice but short biography there that was, however, not focused on his life in magic. ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez
