I understand that subsequent OS updates breaks apps but my list of dead magic apps is getting pretty huge, even from active software developing companies/individuals. Some have already been deleted from my phone but here is my current list of dead apps:

1. SupaThump
2. Premonition
3. DeadMagician
4. UBT for Professional Mentalists and Magicians
5. iTelekinect
6. Audio Stacked Deck
7. Amazing X-Ray FX Pro
8. AreYouPsychic
9. Spirit Writer Trick
10. Paul Daniels Calculator
11. Buzzbuka (Covert Messaging)
12. HypnoPac
13. CubeGame
14. Streets
15. iPredict+
16. iPredict Pro

There are tons more I could add to the list but I think the act of researching and typing them all would just depress me!
I think we’ve reached a state where we just have to maximize our time with our favorite apps and hope for the best. It truly sucks, especially when you close with something app related like I used to to with iPredict Pro.

As you mentioned, it doesn't help that the major phone platforms don't seem to make much effort to maintain backwards compatibility. Normally I would suggest that the developers could make their apps into open source projects when they no longer want to maintain them, but obviously for magic apps the userbase is quite small and exposure is a concern so that's not really an option. I wonder if we'll see more apps move towards a subscription model in the future (particularly ones that have backend servers to maintain).

iForce still works for me. Has it been deleted and you can't find it on the appstore? Also is this iOS or Android?

My Pet Boris - Magic Spider is still available

For iOS you can search on the App Store.

For Android you can download from our website.
Just click the “Google Play” logo
It was removed from the Play Store due to a technicality. Hopefully I can figure out how to restore it soon.
For Samsung S10 make sure you switch to “Native” camera mode in Magic Spider Settings.

All accessories: Spiders, Cockroaches, Butterflies and adhesive dots available from our web store.
