Hi Everyone!
I hope this note finds you well. I was hoping you might be able to help me uncover effects like Teller's Cigarette Routine(: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4U-kHdXgz0 ) that might be performed in a lecture on science and magic. Ideally the effect would be able to be related to concepts like inattentional blindness, expectation bias/blindness, etc. What's particularly lovely about Teller's routine, is that it has a component of 'reveal,' but the mechanism is so absurdist that giving it away doesn't actually give away anything *actually* important. Thanks so much for your help and suggestions!!! |
