I have been looking EVERYWHERE I can for a good clip (like one you would find on a tape deck for example. I need the cost to be super low because I am going through these things like crazy. Anyone know of any good leads? China is the best I could do, but I need to order by the thousand...

Are you breaking plastic clips? If so, can you replace with a metal one? If so, just buy a cheap tape measure and repurpose.

Just go to any of the China wholesalers, and order a thousand. Whatever your thing is called, just Google it, and some China wholesaler should appear. I don't know of any clip that uses something from a tape deck or tape measure. Otherwise, I would try to help further. Maybe if you tell us what the clip is used for, magic or regular everyday use.

I've got a tape with a stainless steel clip for a buck at Dollar Mania. Dollar Mania is the dollar store where thing actually cost a dollar. You can use the tape to power spring flowers and for TM effects.

For our Event Horizon effect I ordered 300 faux leather cell phone cases and cut then apart. They were $1 each and could be purchased from dollartree on line. They also had these minature tape measures that had nice spring steel belt clips on the back. Easily removed by a single screw. Again only a buck each. If you want something without the stitched covering they may work.
