I've owned this little gem for years but it's stayed in the drawer where
I keep magical stuff that I want to get back to . . . . someday.

I just got back to this the other day and rediscovered it. And in my
opinion, the featured effect is awesome.

[The magician introduces a padlock, opens it, then borrows a ring from a
spectator. The ring is threaded onto the loop of the lock, then the lock
is snapped shut, whereupon the whole affair is covered by a handkerchief.

A spectator is asked to take hold of his ring through the handkerchief,
such that he is certain it is safe.

The magician introduces his own finger ring, whereupon it changes instantly
into the spectator's ring! The spectator lifts the handkerchief, showing
that now, locked securely onto the padlock, is the magician's finger ring!]

Now, here's my question. I can't find the instructions that came with this
effect and Guy Camarand mentions two other routines in his 20-page instruction
booklet featuring 3 routines from the minds of Reymond and Acer that came with
this trick!

The original routine (mentioned above and called Ringmaster)is a real zinger, but
its a lot like owning a one trick pony if I don't come up with another routine
using this brilliant piece of magical apparatus.

Any ideas?

I suggest you look in your 3 ring binder where you store your instructions for tricks. Failing that, dig through everything until you uncover them. Good luck!
