I really love routines like the one Rick Merrill is famous for (Sharpie/Coin manipulation), Ive been practicing a part of his routine for quite a while now (from his lecture), and just ordered The Marvelous Pencyclopedia today as well.
Im looking for pieces I can start building on so one day I will have a routine of my own, some products I am looking at is "The Sharpen" by Alain Vachon(?) to maybe add some cool color change moments...? Also Omni-Pen perhaps for some kindof kicker ending... I guess I am just curious what resources you guys have used and recommend to learn different sharpie routines/moves/effects (be it with a coins or without)? Thanks so much, Ryan Lockwood

Ooh Floating Sharpie, that's taking it a route I hadnt considered yet... Thanks Bill
![]() @DaveNeighbors yeah the resources I am talking about are mainly built off of that move... sometimes its fun to just jazz with the flipstick move too Also adding some resources as well... o Chop by Craig Petty has a really easy but super visual 1 minute sharpie routine to start off his chop cup bill in lemon routine. o Sleeveless Sleeving as well is SUPER NEAT, and very relevant if you actually use sleeving like many of us do.
The more I learn, the less I seem to know.

Pretty good as a one off effect) New Zenith Rising Sharpie - http://www.emagicsupply.com/index.php?ma......s_id=154 (similar to voodoo doll effects) There is also a gimmick called "solid and stretch" - http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S18497 And there is always the "Omni Pen" - http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/3465 I'm quite sure there are more out there. These are just the ones I know of that are "pure sharpie" effects.

Tom Crosbie's Pencyclopedia is brilliant as a resource.
