Hi...
I purchased one of these a few years ago and the flint was easily replace by just pulling up the flint wheel, the mechanism in a small holder. Just got a new one and the flint mechanism is glued (I guess with epoxy) to the side of the cup. When you try and remove it, just peels off! Talk about built in redundancy! Yes, you can no longer replace the flint.....your flint mileage will vary!
