Scott e-vest makes some great looking jackets. I have had one for many years that I use while traveling (sleeves zip off, and there are 27 pockets so it can take the place of a carry on bag). But most of the pockets are a bit odd to get into so I don't know how it would be for performing. I prefer to take an existing piece of clothing and add pockets where and how I want them.
