For those of you who perform with Mnemonica and like Aaronson's Shuffle-bored effect, here's what I've been doing lately.
From the face I spread off cards 40-52 and hand them to the participant to shuffle (these will be the predicted cards). Then I take cards 27-39 for myself to shuffle. From there I do an identical handling to the one Bill Goldman uses in his Little Bunny's Card Trick. My folded prediction (labeled "The Inevitable" on the outside) is revealed line by line as follows:
There are 13 face up cards.
6 cards are red and 7 are black.
All of the black number cards are clubs.
Except the 4.
(Alternatively, the last two lines can read as follows:
All of the royal face cards are black.
Except the Queen.)
Afterward the first 26 cards are still in order and can be used in any of the half-stack effects taught in Tamariz' book.

I'd forgotten I used to do this. Enjoy, if you don't already.

I just read 'random sample shuffle-bored' in Art Decko where Simon mentioned getting into it from Aronson stack. I went here to see if someone figured out a method to do it with mnemonica. Thanks for sharing, Mike.
