I practice 5 balls a lot, but can't seem to get past 2 minutes. Are there any tips for lengthening endurance?
Thanks,
Phil

Practice even more. How much is a lot? You just need to juggle long runs on a very regular basis. Short practice sessions every day. I try to practise 5 or 6 days a week. Try to do a couple of hundred catches each day and allow your endurance to build up over time. Avoid doing too much in one session so you can't juggle the next day.
I would stay away from heavy balls or wrist weights. You could damage yourself and when you take them off you will over throw.
Try learning seven, 5 balls will then become so easy.
Try 5 clubs, it will also make 5 balls easy.

Go to http://www.jugglingdb.com and do a search, there must be something on this.

Hope this helps, Phil

After you can get 5 around a few times, start working on reverse cascade, jugglers tennis and under the leg throws. It's just like learning three. When you learn some tricks it helps to make your regular cascade more stable.

Thanks, I'm learning 7 balls and I've got around 20 throws and I'm also working on 5 ball 3 up pirouettes. I usually practice about an hour every day. I need to find a place to practice 4 and 5 clubs though. Great ideas and thanks again!

Sounds like you are doing all right, just keep going and the endurance will come.
I hire a squash court to practice in. Loads of well lit space, with a nice high ceiling.

Philip,
I hope you plan to attend our Down Hill Ski/Juggling festival Feb 28&29 at the Shanty Creek Ski resort in MI.
The Rootberrys will be there this year. http://www.Rootberrys.com
A good time will be had by all!

Wish I could juggle 5 balls for 2 min!!!!

The key to constant improvement is to have a daily routine, and it helps to have a practice partner so you can push each other.
