Searching around I found this silicon spray but never tried it: http://www.smooth-on.com/Spray-Materials/c1281/index.html
The ball shell is exactly 2 1/4" hard plastic and fits perfectly for my multiplying ball set but too slippery to manipulate with. Or is there a better solution than spray? Thanks Mike

Mike, this plastic takes a special sprayer, and is not a spray in a can.
The solution may not be something to put on a ball.. but on your hands. Rosin like dancers use.. or violinists might work for you. Most anything that would cause the balls to cling would also collect dust and make the balls dirty and would lose their "sticky" |

Thank you for this information.
The description doesn't mention anything about how to clean it so you're probably right, if they get dirty they would be useless. I just wrapped a 5" clear round balloon around the shell and has an excellent grip. Has anyone experimented with this? If there was an adhesive so the edges could be trimmed without the balloon coming off.... Mike
