I currently fold my silk, for production, in the manner described in "Mark Wilson's Course in Magic" which I think is the standard way to fold the silk. I was just hoping for some tips, or advice as when I produce it the silk doesn't open fully and as quickly as I would like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look in Tannens for the Rossini Silk Winder. It may make your life a little better. It is also an easy way to store a silk ball until you are ready to use it.
Good Luck!
