"Bound" is a new rope trick by Charlie Justice and put out by Jeff Pierce. It is literally the Dean Dill's box without the box. I just got a prerelease of it in the mail to check out and I love it. You can put it in your pocket and do it as a walk around magic trick. I believe it will be introduced this September in Vegas, so keep an eye out for "Bound".

I am having a lot of fun with this one.

I've used Paul Curry's "Missing Link" for years as a follow-up to John Zander's "Loose Ends". "Missing Link" is like a "Dean Dill's Box" without the box.

Would be nice to see a video of "Bound" to see the differences.

Andre, Missing Link was one phase behind the back if I'm not mistaken. Bound is three phases with a penetration at the end. I have a rough cut of the promo which I hesitate to release just yet as it needs tightening up. Maybe tomorrow I'll have something for everyone to see but It will probably be after I get back from Magic Live.

Not sure what you mean by "behind the back" but if you are referring to the two ropes physically put behind your back you must be thinking of some other effect.

But yes, it is a single phase. Your multiple phase sounds intriguing!

Thanks Jeff...last night, I cleared up my confusion. I was thinking of the "linking ropes behind the head", which is very similar to the Deans Box effect.

I am glad to see that there are folks out there willing to take ideas to the next level. I think your product looks excellent. I, personally, am moving toward a "minimalist" show with as few "magic props" as possible. My goal is to fit an entire 60 minute show is a case that will fit under the seat of an airplane.

I wish you the best with this product...it sounds like it is doing well, and I hope that continues.

Just saw the promo for "Bound". Very nice! I'm becoming more of a minimalist, and this may be something I can use.

Mike and Alan, I think this is the perfect routine for both of you. It packs small and has a great presentation, what more do you need. Try it, I think it will work for both of you.
