How many times a week do you practice your sleights?

And what's the duration time for each of your practice sessions?

For me it's EVERYDAY, for about 2 hours a day. If I'm busy I limit it to thirty minutes, but I try to make sure I do 'em everyday.

How 'bout you guys?

Never get to practice as much as I'd like...

On the bus to and from work... sitting at the computer... in front of the TV...

Maybe 1 1/2 hours a day during the week, 3 hours a day on the weekend.

At work, mostly...

Sitting at the computer between calls (we're an ISP tech support), I have my wooden thimble(s). Also coins, and my packet "twist the aces" routine I'm trying to get down.

Sometimes it's just the rubberbands, playing CMH, just to pass the time...

How about the rest of you?

Well...
almost 5 hours each day.

At least six minutes a day.

I practice whenever I have some free time, which is usually 1 hour a day, but that is split up into 5 minutes here and 10 minutes there.

I practice everyday and while I'm surfing the net I do one-handed sleights.

I practice everyday in front of the tv so you don't get into the habit of looking at your hands when performing.

I practice 3 or 4 times a week by learning 2 or 3 effects and feeling comfortable enough with them until I feel confident to perform them for others. If there is a sleight involved with one of the effects that's giving me trouble, I work on just the sleight througout the week until I feel comfortable with it.

I do everyday during my free time. I never let a portion of a free minute pass by because it can never be returned.
