There is a great program on the History Channel/Comcast On Demand.

It features David (Cohen?) at what looks like the Magic Castle as well as other spots around the world. He is a great entertainer and connects with other magicians as well as builders and even a "fakir" in India doing "The Hindu Rope".

Anyone else see this?

What was the programme called Harris? It sounds interesting.

I'll do a search for it. Sometimes, they put recently aired progs on YouTube.

I'd rather watch this kind of stuff than the most recent Derren Brown and Dynamo farces!

This was Steve Cohen. Some parts filmed at his normal "Chamber Magic" venue in New York, and other parts filmed on location (I think India) while researching the Hindu Rope Trick. It concluded with Steve doing a bullet catch that got mixed reviews elsewhere on the Café.

Right, Michael!
Jon Racherbaumer has been keeping me up to date on Steve Cohen's Chamber Magic. (I think Jon said the Chamber is in the Waldorf-Astoria).)

I saw the show and like it a lot.

There was an article about the making of the show in one of the magic magazines as well.

I think the parlor shots in the show were in a friends home and not at the Waldorf, but his live show does take place in a suite at the Waldorf Astoria.

Interesting guy.

The article about the show was a feature article in Genii magazine. The bullet catch went bad and the performer got seriously hurt.
