Wow just got some Super MAGNETIC PUTTY from Bluewater comes witha tiny 5mm Neodymium magnet, the putty can be used very thinly between paper and playing cards and has lot's of potential in pychokinitic effect's, so will be busy working on some and will keep all posted ,all the best.

Any idea's would be great folk's, so far I am working with bits's of paper and a PK ring to make a quick slight of hand vanish ,that's ok but think there is more that can be done? I have been messing with card pip's and have some fair result's just thought someone on here may use it ,maybe take this down stairs for more imput?.

I've seen it before but didn't think about using it that way.

Try it on the bottom of Dollar Bills and cards to see if it is strong enough.
Would be interesting to see if it is easier to handle than using Washers with wax on them.

P.s.
When I start playing with sticking on palmed shims, it makes me think I should use a sticky Pull.

You can make your own variable strength magnetic putty by mixing iron oxide powder with silly putty. You can get 1 micron particle size iron oxide at Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Black-Iron-Oxide-F......indust_2 . This is very fine powder and will make a mess if you aren't careful. It needs to be very fine to work well and synthetic iron oxide runs 1 -2 microns. It is also attracted to magnets so keep magnets away from any exposed powder or you will suck all the fine powder out of any open containers and make a real mess. You can work a lot of this powder into the silly putty . Much more can be worked in than you would think. I just flatten out the silly putty and press one side into the powder and then fold over the silly putty several times to work it in. I repeat that process over and over again until the putty is loaded with as much of the iron oxide powder as I want. The more you add, the more attracted it is to a magnet. You may want to thin down the silly putty with a silicone lubricant since silly putty is silicone based (mostly dimethyl siloxane). I think Castor Oil will also work since that is also part of the Silly Putty formula but I have never tried it. Add the lubricant little by little and do it before you mix in the iron oxide powder. This will allow you to adjust the how "stiff" the silly putty is to suit your application. As you can tell, I have way too much time on my hands.
