Anyone own Dave Powell's Coin of the Realm? Looking for a review
and if you enjoy performing it?
Thanks.

This is a Classic trick from the days of Thayer Magic. I believe Owen's Magic still makes this trick. It is almost self working, not much can say about it, the effect is as it is discribed.
If you are collector of fine wood products, it is something that will look nice on a shelf. As it trick, it is kind of a beginner magic trick. Meaning if you don't do sleight of hand and close up magic, then it is a nice simple effect.
The effect is only a penetration of a coin edge wise through a piece of glass placed into a box.

Thank you for the information and for your input on the effect. I just got a Coin of the Realm
from Dave Powell Magic.

I think I had one of these, made by Clarence Miller! Same principle as the Lippincott Box. Or...?

There are no angle problems if you hold the box correctly. Except of course if someone or a little toddler is laying on the floor, and don't do it over a mirrored table.
